Decision Governance for Autonomous Agents
You just saw the four layers. Here they are to take with you.
Governed decisions. Deterministic, explainable, defensible to the regulator.
Governed context. The agent sees exactly what this decision needs. Nothing more.
Governed actions. Authorization is fixed. Admissibility is situational.
Governed agents. Identity, behavior, and a runtime trust score that throttles
autonomy.

🚩 Everybody thinks their other end of their expertise is decision.
Here is the real truth…
❌ OR ≠ Decision
❌ Workflow ≠ Decision
❌ Business Rules ≠ Decision
❌ Machine Learning ≠ Decision
❌ Data, Report & Dashboard ≠ Decision
❌ Data-driven marketing orchestration ≠ Decision
Those 👆 are not the decision itself.
And they’re definitely not a decision model.
💣These are all decision logic
We need to understand there is a difference between decision and the “decision logic”.
Decision is the “final judgment” reasoned based on rules & computation logic, data and insight.
Decision Model is a structure that specifies explicitly how an outcome is produced within a context by applying a set of interconnected decision logic on inputs.
💡Decisions are multisetp, they combine multiple decision logic in a structured and clear way. They are not linear and not based on orders. They represent the structure with clarity based on their dependencies.
There are several techniques for modeling decisions. Not all decision models are equal.
